Everlens 2022 Recap

Happy New Year to all Everlensers! 🥳

We want to thank you for an incredible year in which we accomplished a lot. 2022 was a rollercoaster ride for everyone in the crypto space and we managed to get through it together. Let’s take a look at what happened this year. ⬇️

First of all, our brand new platform. We completely redesigned Everlens to give you the best possible UX/UI and allow you to surf our platform in the most convenient way. This new version comes with new features, such as royalties for NFT sellers, an additional social network to tap into (now compatible with Instagram and TikTok) and a new signup process.

With Meta coming into the NFT space mid-2022, we needed to think about something bigger. As a result, we had several ideas:

• Become a secondary marketplace for Instagram NFTs.
• Allow users to import and export NFTs from and to other platforms.
• Provide the ability to monetize any photo into an NFT.
• Provide a new way to monetize content by creating collections of NFTs.

As mentioned earlier, 2022 has been a pretty tough year for everyone in the ecosystem. We went from a booming market to a historic low. We really haven’t been helped by Luna, Gemini, or FTX, but here we are. ELEN has definitely taken a hit this year and has suffered from investor’s fear of not getting past 2022. This is very unfortunate but the token has now stabilized and is currently consolidating.

As for what’s next for Everlens, we are currently finalizing our smartphone app for both iOS and Android. We believe that it will help in the platform adoption. The main challenge remains to comply with the App Store requirements (E.g. Stepn and Coinbase mobile app debacles). We will also try to bring more creators to Everlens.

2023 will be full of new challenges and opportunities and we can’t wait to see what lies ahead. Everything that has happened this year would not have been possible without our Everlens community. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. 💜
